Aluminum With Polycraft Moisture Barrier

Aluminum coil cladding sheet can be factory applied with a moisture barrier, the function is to prevent galvanic and chemical corrosion caused by contact of dissimilar metals in the presence of moisture, and by certain insulation materials when the sheets are installed over damp insulation materials.
We have two types of moisture barrier: Poly Surlyn and Craft paper.

80-120g/m2 Polykraft membranes are heat and pressure bonded to the interior surface of the aluminum coil prior to fabrication of finished products

Standard Finishes: Stucco embossed, Cross-crimped, Corrugated
Standard Roll Sizes: .016”, .020”, .024” and .032”, 3’x 100’, except for .032 thick (furnished in a standard roll length of 50′)

Usage: Industrial Insulation

*These insulated aluminum covers help protect against freezing.
*Prevent corrosion of the jacketing and the underlying equipment, metal pipe, or vessel.

Thickness Information:

– 016″ (0.4mm): Considered the standard for industrial use and recommended on pipelines up to 24″ O.D., which includes the insulation. Primarily used to protect piping, vessels, and tanks that are less than 8 feet in diameter.

– 020″ (0.5mm): Applicable for insulation lines up to 36″ O.D., including insulation. Primary use to protect towers, vessels, and tanks with a diameter greater than 8 feet.

– 024″ (0.6mm): Heavier gauge roll jacketing where extra strength and protection is required.

– 032″ (0.8mm): For areas where extra protection is required, or in custom fabrication of Box covers, tank heads, or heavy wear areas.
