Ecoin Fire Seal Mineral Wool Board can effectively control the spread of flames and hot air currents by means of fire resistance and blockage by the gap between the curtain wall and structural floor or partition as well as ambient facilities such as a chute that runs through floor or partition, thus forming fire barrier and dividing the building into several areas to form passive fire blockage which remains effective for up to four hours at the most.

Fire Seal Mineral Wool Board is also applicable to thermal insulation and fire prevention of windowsill walls. As a passive fireproof structure of curtain wall, it can prevent the spread of flames from the window to upper or adjacent units in case of fire by enhancing the fire compartmentation effect of the wall between upper and lower windows.

Can be used for fire blocking of irregular gaps.
